The HP Mini 2140 Can Change How Students Learn Today.

Despite its good performance the HP Mini 2140 is still a netbook so you won’t want to give it too much of a hard time. Use it for web browsing creating documents and watching the occasional video but don’t try to do too much multitasking or open up multiple flash heavy web pages at once or it might start to test your nerves. It looks like HP hasn’t completely given up on the design and form factor of the Mini Note 2133 as they have just announced the HP Mini 2140.

With a slightly smaller display that measures in at 10.1 inches as opposed to the Mini 1000 which comes with a 10.2 inch display the netbook is pretty much the same with the Mini Note 2133 albeit now coming with an Intel Atom Processor and a bunch of OS options which include Windows XP Home Pro, Windows Vista Basic Premium, SuSe Linux and FreeDOS. The HP Mini 2140 is the practical answer to providing each student continuous access to a notebook in one to one computing.

So the company only offers a high end SSD option for the HP Mini 2140. While HPs recently released Mini 1000 is designed for consumers it’s new HP Mini 2140 Notebook PC caters to the mobile professional. An update and replacement to HPs original 2133 Mini Note the 2140 sports the same durable chassis and well designed keyboard.

The HP Mini 2140 Notebook PC features a simple refined all aluminum case for a sleek yet lightweight design. Starting at 2.6 pounds the fully functional and durable HP Mini 2140 is an ideal companion PC for the on the go professional. The HP Mini 2140 has a great look (very shiny not blinding just nice to look at). The metal alloy hinges seem very durable.

HP is looking to change that image with the introduction of the new HP Mini 2140 Notebook PC designed for mobile professionals. The 2140 comes with several features ideal for mobile professionals including HP DuraKeys, HP 3D DriveGuard, and the HP Panel Protection System. HP Mini 2140 netbooks will be available in the Philippines in February. The HP Mini 2140 is a netbook first and last and thus will perform like a netbook. The system can handle decent tasks.

HP Mini 2140 great bargain notebook Windows XP drivers. Having a vertical resolution of 576 on the SD version of the HP Mini 2140 means that users are forced to scroll on almost every single website. For being dubbed a netbook a mini laptop that is primarily used for surfing the Internet needing to constantly scroll is a pain. The HP Mini 2140 is still available with Windows XP though the device now uses a more capable Intel Atom processor and chipset so perhaps it’s time to give Vista a try Instead spend $30 on the 6-cell battery which offers up to 8 hours of usage time.
